Episode Tournament: Round 1 10 hours ago

We are running an episode tournament to find the fans' favorite episode of Last Man Standing. The nominations round has just closed and the eight most popular episodes made it through to the first of the knock-out rounds.

The following episodes now go head-to-head in four pairs: Last Halloween Standing vs. Buffalo Bill Day, Adrenaline vs. Ed's Twice Ex-Wife, Wherefore Art Thou, Mike Baxter vs. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, and The Fight vs. Putting a Hit on Christmas. Both seasons of the show so far are equally represented with four episodes each.

Last Man Standing Episode Tournament May 29 2013

We are running an episode tournament to find the fans' favorite episode of Last Man Standing. The nominations round, in which you can nominate up to eight episodes to go through to the knock-out rounds, is open now.

The tournament consists of four rounds lasting three weeks each. The first round is the nominations round where up to eight episodes from the season can be nominated. The top eight then get whittled down round by round until we have a winner.

ABC renews Last Man Standing for third season May 11 2013

ABC has picked Last Man Standing up for a third season, according to reports by Deadline.com and The Hollywood Reporter. Malibu Country, which aired with Last Man Standing on Fridays this season, has been cancelled according to reports. Reports suggest ABC may continue to field a Friday night comedy block, perhaps including Last Man Standing, next season.

ABC will officially announce its fall schedule at its UpFront presentation in New York City this Tuesday. So far the network has reportedly renewed sitcoms The Middle, The Neighbors, Suburgatory and its top sitcom Modern Family. Renewals for dramas include Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Once Upon a Time, Castle and Nashville.

Last week's second season finale of Last Man Standing finished a strong first place in the ratings, rising to highs not seen since the season premiere.

"College Girl", which feature a guest appearance by Home Improvement's Jonathan Taylor Thomas, was watched by 7.84 million people, adding 1.41 million people from the last episode. The show scored a 1.6/6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, up from 1.4/5 the previous week. Last Man Standing ranked first in the ratings for its time slot by all key metrics.

Last Friday's episode of Last Man Standing finished first in the ratings for its time slot.

"The Fight" was watched by 6.43 million people, down from 6.96m the week before. In the important adults 18-49 demographic, Last Man Standing scored a 1.4/5 rating, down a notch from 1.5/5 on March 18. Last Man Standing ranked first in its time slot in all key ratings metrics.

Episode 2.16 Ratings March 13 2013

Last week's episode of Last Man Standing finished a solid second in the ratings for its time slot.

"Private Coach" was watched by 6.96 million people, a slight fall from the previous week's 7.05m audience. The show ranked second, behind CBS's Undercover Boss, in total viewers. In the adults 18-49 demographic, the show scored a 1.5/5 rating - unchanged from last week - to finish first.

Second Season Finale: Jonathan Taylor Thomas stars March 5 2013

ABC has issued the press release for the second season finale of Last Man Standing, which airs Friday, March 22. Home Improvement star Jonathan Taylor Thomas reunites with his former TV-dad in this episode.

"College Girl" - Jonathan Taylor Thomas makes a special guest star appearance when he reunites with Tim Allen, his dad from "Home Improvement." When the less-than-studious Mandy gets accepted to not one but two colleges, Kristin realizes it's time to reevaluate where she is in her life. While out on a special date with Ryan, she is pleasantly surprised to see Jon (Thomas), a former co-worker from the diner where she still works, who is now the successful owner of a hip, upscale restaurant. Meanwhile, Mike and Vanessa wonder if Mandy's college choice, a party school in California, is right for her; and Eve gets help with her Junior ROTC competition from neighbor Chuck Larabee, on the Season Finale of "Last Man Standing," FRIDAY, MARCH 22 (8:00-8:31 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Breaking Curfew" was watched by 7.05 million people, up by over a million people from the week before. Last Man Standing scored a 1.5/6 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, moving up two points from 1.3/4 on February 22. Last Man Standing ranked first in its slot in all key ratings metrics.

Last Friday's episode of Last Man Standining finished third in the ratings for its time slot.

"Buffalo Bill Day" had an audience of 6.04 million people, down by 700,000 on the previous episode. In the adults 18-49 demographic, Last Man Standing scored a 1.3/4 rating, down from 1.4/5 the week before. The show finished third, behind CBS's Undercover Boss and NBC's Dateline.

Episode 2.17 Press Release: Richard Karn returns February 25 2013

ABC has issued the press release for the March 15 episode of Last Man Standing. Richard Karn (Home Improvement) returns as Bill McKendree in the episode.

"The Fight" - Mike is surprisingly impressed with Ryan when they take Boyd to a baseball game and have a run-in with a tipsy Bill McKendree (Richard Karn), who's been on a downward spiral ever since Mike failed to give him an Outdoor Man account.
